New York, April 3, 2009 – Fans hungering for the biggest WWE® wrestling event of the year coming up this weekend, the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, have a chance to whet their appetites with a series of streaming matches from the greatest performers of all time. For a limited time leading up to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, Comcast and Time Warner Cable’s online stores are offering ”WrestleMania Icons,” ten special shows featuring classic wrestling superstars in their most memorable action-filled championship matches. Each online offering delivers about 45 minutes of epic battles and pulls together two classic performances. The shows are available until April 7, 2009.
THE PROGRAMS – Each featuring two WrestleMania Classics:
Hulk Hogan: Two championship matches, WrestleMania III against Andre the Giant and WrestleMania VI vs. the Ultimate Warrior.
Stone Cold: Stone Cold Steve Austin challenges Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV and WrestleMania XV when he faces The Rock.
The Rock: The Icons meet at WrestleMania XVIII with The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan and WrestleMania XIX against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Undertaker: At WrestleMania XII he faces Diesel and WrestleMania 21 against The “Animal” Batista.
Triple H: At WrestleMania XIV “The Game” defends the WWE European title against Owen Hart and WrestleMania X8 Triple H challenges Chris Jericho.
Bret Hart: During WrestleMania X, The Hitman battles his younger brother Owen Hart and later that night fights Yokozuna.
John Cena: At WrestleMania 21, Cena challenges JBL and at WrestleMania 22 he goes up against “King of Kings” Triple H.
Shawn Michaels: At WrestleMania X, the “Heartbreak Kid” battles Razor Ramon in a Ladder Mach for the WWE Intercontinental title. At WrestleMania XIX, Michaels faces Chris Jericho.
Rey Mysterio: WrestleMania 21 when Rey faces Eddie Guerrero and WrestleMania 22 where he battles Kurt Angle and Randy Orton.
Edge: At WrestleMania X-7, Edge teams with Christian vs. the Dudleys and Hardy Boyz in a TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Title. At WrestleMania 23, Edge competes in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
